Deer Creek Middle School - A SMART Showcase School

October 6 , 2007

Dear Families,

This week we have HUGE congratulations to DCMS! Our outstanding team of educators will be recognized, as of October 8th, as a SMART Showcase School. We are one of 23 schools in the United States and Canada who have been invited to become a model demonstration school for the use of technology which enhances teaching and learning. Schools must be invited to apply, and then the applications are reviewed at the corporate level to see if a school is worthy to join the Smart Showcase School status. We have a wonderful group of teachers who have put 21st Century teaching and learning at the top of their list. Also, thank you to our wonderful community who has continued to support us in our technology vision for DCMS. We appreciate you!
