• Lisa's husband, John, stated that last week she was given a completely new diagnosis.
• The findings (dating back as far as 2002) are that she has the enzymes in her blood that correctly diagnose her with: POLYMYOSITIS

DCS Post: We have learned that the Deer Creek News is being distributed by a start up web development company whose owners live in the Deer Creek district. They are using the website as a way to promote their new company and solicit donations and sponsorships. They collected email addresses over time from different sources they had access to. Being in the Industry ourselves, we see this all the time. Individuals will gather email addresses and use them for their own benefit. It has been district policy to turn in your fundraising efforts and have them approved by the Superintendent BEFORE acting on them. The contract with White Fields has yet to be resolved and is what is preventing the two teachers from working in the positions they were hired to do. Our Reply: For the record DCES is asking for $50,000 as well. It is amazing to me that the elementary schools are starting the year with a deficit of $160,000. Our Reply: The school does have a policy. All events must be approved by the school board. Make sure to plan far enough ahead to so that you have time to get school board approval. We believe requests need to be submitted 7 days before the next school board meeting; but, please double check this number with the school administration building before making plans.
