PURPOSE OF RUNNING FOR SCHOOL BOARD 

Public education has been a large part of my life.  Both my parents were public school teachers who taught me the value of knowledge and critical thought.  As a member of the Deer Creek school board, my goal would be to implement a plan for growth.  As part of this plan, I will advocate better communication between the administration and parents of the Deer Creek school district.  Currently, Deer Creek maintains a high academic standing which is a direct result of not only the teachers, but also of the parents being actively involved with the students of Deer Creek. My approach would coordinate these positives into one unified endeavor.   As a result of such coordination, the administration will hopefully become more accountable to all of the students and parents within the Deer Creek School District.
