In regards to: Prairie Vale Elementary School
Dear Superintendent Wilkinson:
I am writing this letter today to set up a meeting between you, the school board and parents of Prairie Vale. There are currently between 30-35 parents that plan on attending the meeting. My role in the meeting besides setting it up is to be the moderator/go between to keep the meeting focus and not allow it to become a gripe session.
The purpose of the meeting is to address the concerns and questions of the parents at Prairie Vale. The topics of conversation are as follows:
- Student Placement
- Spending/Purchasing
- Gifted Program
- Communication Issues
- Auction
- Lack of Leadership abilities
- Hiring decisions
- Teacher Moral
- School Policies
- Retaining Employees
- Disciplining Employees
- Whistle Blower Policy
The format we are suggesting is as follows:
- Moderator Address Topic
- Parents Speak on Topic
- General Discussion if Necessary
- Create a Plan of Action if applicable
We were hoping to schedule the meeting at any school other than Prairie Vale from 6:30-8:30 pm during the week of March 26-30. Tuesday or Thursday of that week would be the preferred dates. Let us know if this is possible or an alternative date. I would like to meet with you before the meeting just to clarify any questions you may have. I can be reached at 359.7741.
Best regards,
Robert Talbot
