Remember when government was By the people, For the
people. Well it seems this doesnt apply to our
school board. The other night at the school board meeting
we were reminded how disjointed and out of touch our current
school board is. A gentleman had signed up to talk to the
school board but was cut off during his 3 minutes because
his topic ... Read

Note to the Superintendent
Your remark that these types of websites pop up when a parent
is upset such as with a sports coach just highlights your ignorance
of the purpose of this website and my intentions. I would not
like to trivialize a major issue with-in the school district
by comparing it to whether my son or daughter participated in
a sporting event. The point and only point of this website is
to help disseminate both positive and negative information to
the patrons of Deer Creek Schools and raise their awareness
of major issues in the school district...Read

Note from the DCS Post
DCSpost.com awards itself a pasture patty. We have allowed the
website to go down a road we never intended. We really did figure
that people would move past being negative towards each other.
We were went down the track and accept all responsibility. With
that said it is time to move on.
Sincerely,

We were speechless in response to the Superintendent's
raise. It seems others were too.
February 19, 2007
Parent Post: No, it was not the right decision. We
should have a say so in the renewing of a contract or a raise
or car allowance for the Superintendent. I was told that the
board had done these things in a hush-hush manner. It's my
understanding our so called Superintendent has made several
bad decisions in her role as Superintendent. And now the board
has made a very, very bad decision in renewing her contract
and giving her a raise. We need ... Read entire Pasture Pattie

Our Reply: The Board decisions are a mixed bag. While
their decisions are open to the public (during the school
board meetings), their discussion of the topic is not. All
discussions about any school personnel are done during the
school board meeting executive session which is not open to
the public. A report ... Read entire Pasture Pattie
