Rumored PTO / PSG Funds

Activity Bus $150,000

Amount of money raised from fundraisers (parents) to fund Deer Creek Schools this year >$250,000

Hiring a new Superintendent to give the school district a chance-PRICELESS

Rumor Mill

At a recent Executive PTO Meeting school officials suggested that the PTO and PSG’s be combined.  Since there is so much money out there with the PSG’s it should be combine with the PTO funds.

At a recent Parent Meeting for Football the Superintendent asked if the parents knew anybody that could donate $150,000 to put towards the purchase of a Spirit Bus for the football team.

We could go on and on in response to both statements but we nothing we could say would give justice to the stupidity that both statements already present on their own.

$150,000 -- bus cost   vs   $112,000 -- superintendent salary

Is it just me or does anybody else see a trade possibility?
