We all remember the anxiety experienced when leaving elementary to go to middle school. Working toward easing that transition, the Middle School Intramural basketball program was started in 2004 by Toni Jones and Kristi Kringlen. There have been between 70-100 students participating in the program each of the last two years. Even with all the hard work put in by Toni and Kristi the programs would not have been possible with out the support of all the parents who volunteer their time.

The next time you see Toni or Kristi, make sure you congratulate them for such a wonderful program and don’t forget to thank all those parents donating their time. This is a wonderful example of how the Deer Creek Community works together to enhance educational environment in Deer Creek.
