Parent Post

Lets talk about the junior book scarlet letter.  About half of the people that I have talked to have failed the first quiz that the teachers have given.  the only time that the teachers go over it is on Wednesday which is flex day but a lot of the students have Francis Tuttle to go to in the afternoon when they review the book.  Does it seem fair to the Francis Tuttle students who are not there to review?

Our Reply

I would recommend talking with the teachers first. It soundslike there may be more to this story then what was mentioned in the e-mail. If that doesn’t work then I would go to Dr. McAdoo and talk with her.  I am sure that everybody working together can help remedy the situation.

As for Flex Days, since this is the first year of having Flex Day,s it is going to take some time to work out all of the wrinkles.  We have heard mixed reviews on the subject and we are still not sure ourselves about it.  We are curious to hear what other people’s opinions and comments about Flex Time. For those of you with students in the high school, please share your thoughts.
